Beware of cheap domain deals. Many companies selling cheap domain names also use search engine unfriendly techniques like redirecting, masking and branded hosting.

Many cheap domain name deals contain expensive hidden fees which can increase the price substantially.

Cheap domain registration contracts often have hidden costs. Don't get stung by hidden charges when you actually need to use or move a domain name. Many companies offering cheap names charge for registration, then domain name pointing, release fees and still run adverts on your site.

Many companies are claiming that they can register domain names for less than $1.00 ( mostly UK companies ). In reality the price is much higher than this. As well as the registration fee , they then charge often substantial amounts for domain parking, domain pointing, e-mail forwarding / url forwarding and other services. In some case this can bring the price to over $60 and up.

Other misleading advertisements claim to provide "free transfer of your domain name" . Many companies use this to describe domain pointing. So in other words they are telling you its ok to manage your domain and point it towards your web host. But you may find they if you need to transfer your domain name to another company, there is in fact a charge.

Do not be fooled into their misleading advertising scams. Advertising scams like this are designed to hook you in.
